Marloth Park is home to giraffes, zebras, various antelope, warthogs, and a wonderful array of amazing fauna and flora. Animals are free to roam and often visit in the garden - it’s a magical experience. Guests can also walk, cycle and run freely in Marloth Park within the curfew times of 06:00 - 18:00.
Marloth Park has its own 1500ha enclosed game reserve, known as Lionspruit.
Lionspruit’s wild inhabitants include 4 of the Big 5, and there are several bird hides and picnic spots in this beautiful place, where guests can relax in the tranquility of nature. Lionspruit is just around the corner from Blue Goose Bush Retreat.
With access to neighbouring Kruger National Park via the Crocodile Bridge Gate just a quick 30 minute drive away, this is the perfect base from which to embark on exciting daily safari adventures in what is without a doubt, one of the world’s best-loved wildlife destinations. LIKED: We did not want for anything, everything was perfect. Very well and thoughtfully provisioned with good quality stuff. Lots of wildlife visitors like Kudu and Zebra which was awesome.
LIKED: From the friendly and informative Host Liresia and her staff that keep the house in great condition, to the beautiful home which had everything we needed and was decorated so beautifully, the sparkling swimming pool and stunning boma it was all fantastic. It catered for loadshedding with solar panels and we were never inconvenienced. But best of all we were honoured to have Kudu, Wildebees, Impala and Bush Pigs visiting us regularly and interacting with us. Bird life is amazing and shy Nagapies stared on at us from a distance. Marloth Park itself is a wonderful place. It was a very peaceful and quiet piece of heaven.
LIKED: When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile by Liresia, the place was clean and tidy. The layout is so practical and I love the fact that each room has its own bathroom makes everything so convenient. The veranda is lovely with an amazing view and the animals aren't afraid to join us. We even got to feed some of the animals. An amazing experience.
